The Sackler School and Tufts University provide a variety of facilities designed to make studying easier and recreation more accessible. Fitness facilities that provide a variety of exercise options are available on the Boston and Medford campuses.
Health Sciences Fitness Center, Boston Campus
The Boston Fitness Center is housed on the lower level of the Arthur M. Sackler Center for Health Communications at 145 Harrison Avenue, and open for use by all students in the Boston Campus Schools. The center includes a cardio circuit, free weights, a yoga studio, and locker rooms.
This facility was made possible by a generous $15 million gift from the Jaharis Family Foundation.
Posner Hall Gym, Boston Campus
A small fitness room is currently available for use on the Boston campus. This facility is located in the basement of Posner Hall at 200 Harrison Avenure. Equipment includes cardio machines and free weights, a television and a changing room.
Tufts Athletics Department, Medford Campus
The Athletics Department features excellent facilities for the entire Tufts University community. Facilities include a fitness center, indoor and outdoor tracks, tennis and squash courts, gymnasium, pool, and locker room and showers.
