Students are an integral and important part of the Sackler School, and are encouraged to be active, contributing members of our scientific community. Although mentored laboratory research training is at the core of our educational program, students can take part in all aspects of academic life at the School. The graduate student experience is unique, and we encourage you to take advantage of all that it can offer. Join the Graduate Student Council, participate in the Sackler Relays and other social events, apply for one of our student awards, submit an article to the InSight, the student-run newsletter, and participate in our community-focused outreach projects.
The Sackler Dean's Office is responsible for student academic matters, including monitoring student registration, collecting thesis forms, helping students submit completed theses and dissertations, planning commencement ceremonies, and maintaining permanent student records. We also advise faculty and students concerning Graduate School and University policies and procedures.
Everyone on the staff at the Dean's Office is happy to answer your questions and assist you in making your graduate student experience at the Sackler School as positive and productive as possible. We are located in the Sackler Building, Suite 813, 145 Harrison Avenue. We're open from 9 am until 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Contact us at 617-636-6767.
