Dear Sackler Community:

Today, we will host the first Sackler-wide open forum that includes faculty staff and students to brainstorm on the road ahead for our school. As you all know, I took the job to fulfill the mission of changing biomedical graduate education to train to the biomedical workforce of the 21st Century. We have exciting opportunities in the current biomedical revolution and we are well poised for these opportunities being in Boston, ground zero for this revolution.  We also have challenges as a small school with limited resources. Today we will share ideas on how best to go forward to distinguish ourselves as we compete for the best minds to join us. I like the fact that we do this as a team with faculty, students and staff being equal partners in coming up with innovative approaches to do this. Thanks for being part of this.
