Biomedical Travel Awards

Poster Fair

The Sackler School began presenting Biomedical Travel Awards in 1996 to support students who are presenting their PhD research at major international and national scientific meetings. Funds for this award come from the Provost's Office, the Sackler Dean’s Office, and the profit from the Sackler Relays, a student-run School-wide summer social event, athletic competition, and fund-raiser.

Award Amount

The award amount varies, depending on funds available and on the cost of the meeting the student plans to attend.

Eligibility

All Sackler graduate students and MD/PhD students are eligible to apply for travel award funds. No more than one student per lab may apply in any application cycle, and a student may receive only one Travel Award while enrolled at the Sackler School.
