Sackler School graduate students must register each term until they have earned their degrees unless they are on an approved Leave of Absence. A Course Schedule is prepared each term listing courses being offered by all of our programs. Students register for courses online through the Student Information System (SIS).
For Fall and Spring semesters, students are required to register for four credits to be considered full time. For Summer term, students register for two credits to be full time.
Registration Deadlines
The Summer and Fall Registration Deadline is April 30.
The Spring Registration Deadline is December 31.
Online Registration Instructions
You must register on line through the SIS online information system. Follow the simple instructions below.
- Go to: SIS online
- Enter your Student ID number
- Select Sackler from the drop-down list
- Enter the four digit pin
- Click on "Registration"
- Click on "Register"
- Select the appropriate term from the drop-down list
- Click on "Power Search" at the top of the screen
If this is the first time you are logging into SIS, use your birthdate as your PIN in mmddyy format (e.g., 121282 for December 12, 1982); the system will then prompt you to change this to a four digit PIN. If you have forgotten your PIN, please contact the Registrar in the Sackler Dean’s Office.
You may view courses available by program (e.g., GENE, ISP, CRES etc). The search results will also reveal which courses or sections are open for registration. Add a course to your schedule by clicking the “Add” button. If you already know the Course Number and Section Number of a course for which you wish to register, you may add it in the “Register” screen without using the Power Search.
