Sackler- Sponsored Workshops
Each year the Sackler Dean's Office sponsors three career and professional development workshops that are planned in collaboration with the Sackler Graduate Student Council and the Tufts Biomedical Business Club. These workshops are designed to provide students with tools that will help them in exploring multiple career paths and be prepared to enter the next phase of their professional lives upon graduation.
These programs typically feature an outside expert and a panel with expertise in the workshop topic. Many of the panelists are Sackler alumni who bring a special perspective to the discussion. Opportunities for networking are included in each of the programs.
In the past year, Sackler sponsored three workshops by Lauren Celano of Propel Careers:
- Workshop One - Career Search Strategy
- Workshop Two - How Companies Evaluate Talent
- Workshop Three - Informational Interviewing
The final workshop concluded with a reception and Speed Networking event where students interacted with alumni and others who are pursuing a wide range of different careers.
