Aspirin and Animals - New Insights from Sackler Faculty

Michael Court's interest in drug responses and his training in veterinary medicine have combined to yield work that advances our understanding of aspirin toxicities in cats.

Dr. Court's team, lead by Binu Shrestha, included researchers from the Tufts College of Arts & Sciences, the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, the National Cancer Institute, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute and the University of California-Berkeley. The group has recently published their findings in PLoS One Abstract in PubMed.

The work is also featured in a recent blog hosted by Discover Magazine  news.
