Tri-Program - MMCRI Retreat
Nearly 200 students, postdoctoral fellows and faculty attended the two day Building Partnerships Through Discovery and Collaboration retreat in Portland, ME to build stronger ties between faculty at Sackler and Maine Medical Center Research Institute. Three graduate programs, Cell, Molecular & Developmental Biology, Cellular & Molecular Physiology and Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics came together with the faculty of the Departments of Anatomy & Cell Biology and Molecular Physiology & Pharmacology at Tufts Medical Center and faculty from the Maine Medical Center Research Institute at the event.
The two day program featured scientific presentations, breakout sessions focused on areas of scientific synergy and training, social events and poster sessions.
David Walt, PhD, Robinson Professor of Chemistry, Tufts University, was an invited guest and delivered the keynote lecture.
