Epigenetics Research from Sackler Featured in New Publication

Larry Feig, a member of the Biochemistry and Neuroscience Graduate Programs, has been exploring the way epigenetic changes affect learning.  An article about his research is featured in a new book, The Epigenome, A New View into the Book of Life Biomedical Computation Review Summer 2010.  The work, by Kristen Sainani, PhD, is published from the NIH Center for Biomedical Computation at Stanford. Dr Feig is continuing work related to his original discoveries with researchers at the Broad Institute under the auspices of an NIH Challenge Grant. They are working to understand if adolescent mice exposed to negative experiences pass these to their offspring.
