Sackler to Host Boston Gene Expression Meeting

Ananda Roy, PhD, Associate Professor of Pathology and a member of the Immunology and Genetics Graduate Programs has joined once again with Stephen Buratkowski, PhD, Professor of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, Harvard Medical School to host the Boston Area Gene Expression Meeting.

The meeting will be held on July 21, 2010 in the Sackler Auditorium at 145 Harrision Avenue.  The talks will begin at 9 am and end at 5:30 pm.

The day long program will feature scientific presentations from leading researchers focused on contemporary problems in gene regulation. Highlighted topics include: Chromatin; Transcriptional Regulatory Mechanisms; Gene Expression in Development & Disease; siRNAs, miRNAs and other Non-coding RNAs.

The keynote address will be given by Patrick Cramer, Professor of Biochemistry and Director, Gene Center, Ludwig Maximilian's University, Munich.
