J. Fred Dice Memorial Service and Symposium

In honor of J. Fred "Paulo" Dice, who passed away unexpectedly in January, the Physiology Department is hosting a symposium and memorial service on Friday, April 16, 2010 in the Sackler DeBlois Auditorium. The Sackler community is invited to attend and share in this celebration of his life.

Professor Emeritus and a former member of the Physiology Department, Dr. Dice was a beloved member of the faculty, a talented teacher, and an outstanding colleague.  Prior to his retirement at the end of June 2009, he had served as a member of the faculty for 24 years.  Paulo was a gentle and kind soul who cared deeply about his colleagues and the medical school.  He made the school a better place and we will miss him greatly.

Full details of the memorial service and symposium are available on the J. Fred Dice Memorial Service and Symposium web page.  Please also visit the Department of Physiology's page remembering Paulo's incredible service to Tufts School of Medicine and the Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences.

We hope you will join the Physiology Department in celebrating the life and science of Paulo Dice on April 16.
