Faculty Recognition

Ralph Isberg & Joan Mecsas
Our faculty are an important and vital part of all we do.  We take great pride in recognizing their achievements through awards given in collaboration with Tufts University School of Medicine.  One such award is the Distinguished Faculty Award, which recognizes outstanding contributions to the School of Medicine and the Sackler School.  The Zucker prizes recognize faculty achievement in research.  Recipients of these prizes present their work as part of the Sackler Science Frontiers seminar series. Another important way faculty are recognized is through the Sackler Mentor Award.  This award, instituted in 2005 by TUSM Dean Michael Rosenblatt, recognizes achievement in student mentoring by a Sackler faculty member.  Students nominate faculty members for this award.
