Graduate Programs

Research Synopsis

I do not maintain an active research program and no longer accept dissertation students.

I am involved in teaching many courses in the Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics Graduate Program. I also serve on student committees and advise students on research questions.

My own research focused on central nervous system medications and disorders, including mechanisms of action, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, pharmacogenetics, effects of the aging process, drug metabolism, and drug interactions.
