Research Synopsis

I am an active participant in graduate education through service on thesis committees, qualifying examination committees, and as a lecturer in Introduction to Immunology (IMM 212) and the course director of Immunochemistry I (IMM 227). My other current responsibilities are primarily within the educational programs of the School of Medicine, the MS in Biomedical Sciences (MBS) Program and School of Dental Medicine. My research focused on the genetics of antibody diversity. In particular, my lab examined epigenetic alterations associated with immunoglobulin gene rearrangements during B lymphocyte development. I no longer accept thesis students, rotation students or other trainees.
