Research Synopsis

My research has focused on longitudinal analysis, joint models, meta-analysis, publication bias, predictive modeling, model performance, time series, long-range dependence, and applied and theoretical probability. I also collaborate with clinical and health services researchers in areas including pediatrics, nephrology, HIV/AIDS, pulmonary medicine, oncology, cardiovascular disease, health disparities, health policy, health related quality of life, and health behavior. My methodological work includes the development of joint models for patient reported and survival outcomes, the evaluation and development of statistical methods which detect and adjust for publication bias in meta-analysis, and the evaluation of performance measures for models predicting binary outcomes.
