PhD Programs

Jose Ordovas

The Basic Science Division of the Sackler School offers eight biomedical science PhD programs. Admission to three of these programs: Biochemistry; Cell, Molecular and Developmental Biology; and Cellular and Molecular Physiology, is through the common portal of the Integrated Studies Program (ISP).  Candidates interested in these programs should apply to the ISP.  Candidates interested in the Genetics, Immunology, Molecular Microbiology, Neuroscience, and Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics Programs should apply directly to these programs.

The Clinical Research Division of the Sackler School offers a PhD program in Clinical and Translational Science.  Applicants interested in this program begin their studies in the MS program in Clinical and Translational Science and move to the PhD program upon completion of course and qualifying examination requirements.  Applicants interested in the Clinical Research Program should refer to the information on applying to the MS in Clinical and Translational Science.
