Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology
College of the Holy Corss
Worcester, MA
TEACRS Alumna - 2017

I joined TEACRS after completing my PhD in Biology at MIT. I performed my research in the laboratory of Karl Munger, Professor of Developmental, Molecular & Chemical Biology.

My research focused on cancer, a disease characterized by uncontrolled cellular proliferation, which requires biosynthesis or salvage of many biological macromolecules such as nucleic acids, lipids and proteins in order to build new cells. More specifically, I studies changes to the cellular metabolic program that occur due to immortalization and carcinogenic transformation using a human papilloma virus system.

I am continuing my career as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology at the College of the Holy Cross.
