Assistant Professor of Chemistry
TEACRS Alumnus - 2010
I joined TEACRS after completing my PhD in Chemistry & Biochemistry at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD. I conducted my research at Tufts with David Walt, PhD, Robinson Professor of Chemistry.
My research during TEACRS focused on developing a microbead-based sensor that uses electrochemiluminescence for multiplexed analyte detection. This extremely sensitive technique has the potential to provide rapid and precise disease diagnosis.
As part of the TEACRS Program, I taught General Chemistry at UMass Boston.
I am continuing my research and teaching at Bard College where I am focusing on microfabrication and laser writing approaches.
