TEACRS Alumna - 2014
I joined the TEACRS Program after completing my PhD in Experimental Pathology at Harvard University in Boston, MA. I conducted my reserach with Peter Juo, PhD, Associate Professor of Developmental, Chemical & Molecular Biology at Tufts University School of Medicine.
During my postdoctoral training, I studied the role of the highly conserved TGF-β signaling pathway in regulating glutamate receptor trafficking in the nervous system of C. elegans.
As part of the TEACRS Program, I co-taught Cell Biology with TEACRS fellow Leslie Mebane at UMass - Boston
I am continuing my career in research and teaching in the Biology Department at Suffolk University.
