We are working on a project that is studying how helminthes interact with the host's immune system to regulate the immune response. Previous observations showed that helminthes modulated various pathways that help prevent or reverse immunologic disease. We are interested in delineating the cellular pathways involved in this regulation and determining how they work at the intestinal mucosal surface. The FoxP3-GFP expression mouse and other animal models are used in this study.
