My current research is to develop molecular imaging probes to study mitochondrial function and autophagy. I am especially interested in applying the advancements in nanomaterials and nanotechnology to engineer nanoprobes with theranostic capabilities. My goal is to develop a library of theranostics with tunable pharmacokinetics, and potentially translatable to impact today’s clinical care.
