My research focuses on the mechanisms by which mutations can arise through homologous recombination repair of DNA double-strand breaks in Drosophila. I’m investigating the genetic requirements for mutagenesis and the effects that repeated sequences, such as CAG trinucleotide repeats, can have on mutagenic repair processes.
