The TEACRS program is committed to providing trainees with strong support for their research and teaching activities. In keeping with this philosophy, the program has developed guidelines to insure that trainees and their mentors are familiar with the support that is available to them and are aware of the expectations that have been set forth for all TEACRS trainees. Dr. Moore and program leadership are available to help trainees with questions about program expectations.
Overview of Research Guidelines
The TEACRS Program facilitates research training in a number of ways. In addition to the traditional research mentor in whose laboratory the fellow trains, TEACRS fellows have a Research Advisory Committee that provides additional research guidance and advise. Each fellow is also assigned a Research Adviser who is a member of the TEACRS Executive Committee who tracks the trainee's progress and provides additional advice.

Overview of Teaching Guidelines
Preparing and presenting a course at one the TEACRS partner institutions is an integral part of the TEACRS Program. The teaching each trainee does is determined in part by the interest and expertise of the trainee and by the needs of the partner schools.
