This interactive conference includes plenary, poster and exhibit sessions on effective teaching strategies with the goal of improving teaching and learning in the biological sciences. It is not necessary to be a microbiologist to benefit from this conference.

This conference offers intensive, hands-on training in scientific presentations, grantsmanship and teaching. Sessions also address scientific ethics and career opportunities in microbiology.
