Non-Degree Programs

The Sackler School has a variety of training programs for individuals who are not enrolled in degree programs. We welcome undergraduates interested in exploring biomedical research to our summer research program. A research internship program targets post-baccalaureate trainees who are not yet ready to pursue a PhD in biomedical sciences. We also welcome postdoctoral fellows interested in the breadth of biomedical science research we offer. Special student status is also available for individuals who wish to explore Sackler courses. The information below will help you select the opportunity that best matches your goals. 

Certificate in Clinical Research

Sackler offers a one-year program leading to a Certificate in Clinical Research.  The program provides training for physicians and health professionals who seek additional clinical research training but are not ready to pursue a degree in this discipline.

Summer Research

Sackler offers a number of summer programs, for both undergraduate and medical students, that provide hands-on research experience combined with faculty mentoring. Please visit our Summer Research page for more information.

Post-Baccalaureate Research Internship Program

This non-degree program is ideal for recent college graduates interested in gaining research experience and improving skills before applying to graduate degree programs in the biomedical sciences. To read more, please visit the PREP page.
