Mycobacteria tuberculosis, the causative agent of tuberculosis, remains a global health threat. M. tuberculosis can give rise to two daughter cells one of which is more tolerant to drug treatment than the other. My research focuses on using quantitative single cell measurements to identify determinants of mycobacteria drug tolerance as well as identifying new proteins involved in drug tolerance.
