Our lab uses genetic approaches and comparisons between the innate immune responses of C57Bl/6 mice (a classical laboratory mouse strain) and MOLF mice (a wild-derived strain) in order to identify genes and molecular pathways that regulate the response. My research focuses on understanding the differential immune responses that occur between C57Bl/6 and MOLF mice in the context of RIPK dependent inflammation. Identifying differences that exist between the C57Bl/6 and MOLF inflammatory response has allowed us to gain insight into the signaling pathways involved in RIPK dependent inflammation.
