Molecular Microbiology Alumni

The program has awarded the PhD degree to more than 155 doctoral students. Graduates from the program have obtained positions at prestigious academic, governmental, and industrial institutions and include a Howard Hughes Medical Investigator, a Pew Scholar, and a vice president of a biotechnology corporation. Among the graduates are more than 30 faculty members, most of whom are tenured or on tenure-track. Many others hold senior-level positions at pharmaceutical or biotechnology firms. Recent graduates are pursuing their studies at the postdoctoral level or research associate level. Others have gone on to obtain MD, DVM, DMD or JD degrees.
