Genetics Journal Club
All Genetics Program students participate in journal club until they have obtained permission to write the thesis. Students select papers of current interest and prepare a presentation after consultation with the faculty. Faculty members participate on a rotating basis and provide feedback and expertise. Meetings are held on a weekly basis during the academic year.
Developmental Genetics Journal Club
This activity is designed for trainees in the Developmental Genetics track within the Genetics Program. The journal club meets on a monthly basis and is led by Diana Bianchi, MD, director of the Developmental Genetics Training Program. The group explores papers related to genetics and development and also participates in non-traditional journal club activities including Walk Rounds in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Tufts Medical Center to broaden understanding of the consequences of inherited and other developmental defects.
Developmental Genetics
Developmental Genetics is for PhD students who want to integrate medical genetics and developmental genetics and address problems in human disease.
