My research focuses on adult hair follicle stem cells and their interactions with mesenchymal fibroblasts. I am working to developing a 3D tissue culture model of the hair follicle to emulate the natural environment of the follicle to better understand how the stem cell niche is maintained and the cyclic regeneration of the follicle is orchestrated.
