Pharmacology & Drug Development Website

Pharmacology is an exciting discipline that sits at the core of translational research. Therapies that alleviate disease are studied on the molecular and cellular levels and also applied to pre-clinical and clinical models. The MS in Pharmacology & Drug Development is designed to provide foundational training in these areas.

A strong combination of didactic study coupled with bench research allows trainees to become well-versed in state-of-the-art approaches. Introductions to human subjects research and regulatory affairs are also provided.

Our program is particularly well-suited to trainees who are already pursuing careers in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry and wish to acquire new skills that will provide additional opportunities for advancement or who are considering these careers and do not wish to make the commitment to PhD training.

Others who seek additional preparation for doctoral training or who have not yet decided if a doctoral program is right for them will find that this program can help them prepare and decide if doctoral training is right for them.
