My work focuses on applying the Chromophore Assisted Light Inactivation (CALI) technique to study biological processes. I am using this approach to identify cancer-relevant gene expression mutations leading to chemotherapy resistance. I am also developing a new genetic screening technique that will allow me to apply CALI to the entire proteome and also working on another project to determine the function of extracellular HSP90a.
